In order to apply for this post you must be willing to undertake training against an appropriate Apprenticeship Standard that will be delivered by an approved training provider.

Apprenticeships are open to all ages and abilities and are designed to encourage people who may not have the necessary experience or qualifications to access employment.

County Enterprise Foods produce ready meals primarily for the elderly and vulnerable adults. Producing approximately 2,000 meals a day in a busy production unit based on the Claylands Industrial Estate in Worksop. County Enterprise Foods is part of supported employment.

We require a cook who will work as part of a team to follow standard recipes to make up the products to go into the meals. This will involve operating industrial catering equipment

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to work under instruction and at times on their own. They must also have experience of working in a food industry and be able to work as part of a team. A food Safety Certificate or similar is a requirement of the post.

On the job training will be provided. White protective overalls will also be provided and laundered.
