This is an exciting opportunity to join the Play for Disabled Children Team in Holiday Clubs around Nottinghamshire working 7 hours per day during School Holidays, there are opportunities to work between 2 – 4 days a week at different locations.
You will work within a specialist play setting alongside an experienced team providing and adapting play/youth opportunities to meet the requirements of disabled children and young people.
Play Support Workers require experience or training in play, childcare or equivalent.
Applicants need to be available to work regularly in Nottinghamshire school holiday periods; be flexible; compassionate; have a willingness to learn/train outside of the core working hours (paid on timesheet) and be able to support and care for children/young people aged 5 – 17 years enabling them to access play and leisure activities.
Due to the nature of the work, applicants should be aged 18 or over.
You will have to meet the requirements of the job description in order to be offered the post.
You will also have the opportunity to join our bank of workers to access supply work to other partner projects and overnight residential opportunities.
This is a rolling recruitment, interviews will be carried out on a regular basis as applications are received
