Integrated Community Equipment Loan Service (ICELS)                             

We have a career development opportunity for an experienced OT/s with a minimum of 2-3 years post qualification experience, supporting equipment prescribers across Health and Social Care in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.  Primarily based in Bilborough as part of the ICELS Clinical Team you will be providing advice, guidance, training, problem solving, support with equipment and minor adaptations solutions. The team helps to influence changes and further develop the service targets and objectives and works alongside our service providers.

You need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, should be confident in your approach to dealing with challenging situations and negotiating positive outcomes. Ideally, will have a breadth of experience and good clinical reasoning skills to support prescribers. You may need to assist with recommendations for standard and complex case management, providing guidance to ensure prescribers meet and adhere to service protocols.

You need to be self-motivated and able to work flexibly across the Partnership supporting clients, prescribers and providers when needed. Should be competent in, or willing to develop skills in the use of standard office IT systems, ie; webelms and excel are used daily.
