Personal Care Assistant

The Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham Multi Academy Trust seeks to appoint a caring, friendly person to join our newly established and forward-looking team as a personal care assistant in the Foundation Stage. The post holder will assist children with their day-to-day personal care needs and will work alongside our professional staff to further children’s learning and development.

The successful candidate will also provide personal care support and moving and handling to an identified child.

The successful applicant will:

•    Have a positive approach to professional development 
•    Be a proactive and positive team member, working with school, family members and external agencies
•    Have excellent communication skills 
•    Be able to engage children in stimulating play, promoting a happy and caring environment
