Support Learning Assistant   – Start date September 2018

Leverton Church   of England Academy is situated in a pleasant rural location near   Retford and caters for pupils aged 4-11. We are looking for someone who;

  • Experience of working with children with SEN on a 1:1   basis, particularly those with behaviour needs
  • Passionate about children’s well-being and learning
  • An inspirational, dedicated and highly effective teaching   assistant, committed to raising standards
  • Builds positive relationships with the children, staff,   parents and governors
  • Works well as part of a team and use their initiative
  • Fully participates in all aspects of school life.

You will need to have recent experience of working 1:1 with children with complex behavioural needs. You will need to be caring and sensitive to the needs of   the child as well as flexible and confident to deal with challenging behaviour. You will be expected to support the child for a range of activities and work as part of a close knit team.
