Forest View Junior School is looking to appoint a new site manager who is willing to go above and beyond for our school.

We are looking to recruit someone who is skilled, flexible, approachable and hard working. The successful candidate will be a key member of our staff team and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and security, whilst maintaining our school site ensuring it is clean, tidy and in the best possible condition. It is essential that you work positively with staff and parents and be a good team player and have experience of leadership and management including successfully managing a team.

You will have experience of carrying out minor building maintenance works, be able to prioritise and organise your workload, keep the site safe for users and be able to complete regular testing and recording including Legionella, Fire Safety and other aspects of Health and Safety. You will also have experience of inducting and managing contractors on site and be able to complete all required paperwork effectively and also have the responsibility for producing a school development plan.

As a school we are proud of our buildings and work space and we want you to be personally invested in that alongside us. Forest View is 80 years old and although there have been some major refurbishments carried out a building of this age will always need minor work undertaking.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous, but ideally we are looking for someone with interest and a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to the school.

Application forms and further details are available by email from the school office. Alternatively, please send a large SAE to the address above.
