The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ an additional cleaner at Newark day Services Centre, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a total new build, a modern building with high specification facilities that will need to cleaned to a high standard daily.

You will be required to work between the hours of 6:00am – 9:00am Monday to Friday. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment, as part of a team of small team of staff and who are able to communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture and window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.

You will play a vital role as part of a small team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. A candidate that takes pride in their standard of work is vital. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
