Required as soon as possible

Sutton Community Academy is a place where people learn, grow, share, and discover their full potential.

Operating at the heart of Academy Transformation Trust gives our people unrivalled scope for personal and professional development – just one of the reasons that most of them stay with us until they gain promotion or choose to retire.

We train our staff to bring out the best in each and every pupil, and place strong emphasis on good behaviour, so that nobody is held back or prevented from developing. The same applies to our staff: we invest heavily in PD, so that today’s excellent staff can become tomorrow’s inspiring school leaders, either here or elsewhere in the Trust.

This is a place for ambitious staff: people who want to champion innovative classroom practice, challenge conventional wisdom and find exciting ways to bring learning to life working in a positive environment.

We are looking for a highly organised and innovative team player who is motivated and committed to the success of our students. You will support students and their families in addressing all attendance matters, and where necessary, enforce relevant legislation to enable students to attend school.

As the appointed Looked After Coordinator for the Academy you will be able to build positive working relationships with young people, professionals, partner agencies and carers. We are looking for a highly organised and resilient individual.

Your ideas will help to take us to the next level and empower pupils to discover new and involving extracurricular activities.

Ultimately, this is an academy that you have to experience for yourself, so we encourage you to visit the Academy and meet our Principal to discover what’s possible.
