Are you an innovator, who wants to help shape the future of how Nottinghamshire’s Adult Social Care Department operates? If so, we have an opportunity in our Maximising Independence Service for a Service Lead (Reablement) to get involved in leading and directly contributing to these aims.

Nottinghamshire County Council is committed to delivering the highest quality services to its residents. Working with partners including people who use services, the voluntary sector, local providers of care and support and the NHS we are developing services for residents that help people live more independently. The Maximising Independence Service which includes our domiciliary reablement offer is at the forefront of this work.

Our staff work in a strength-based way, promoting independence by ensuring person centred and strength-based approaches, taking account of anticipatory and preventative care principles of promoting and maximising independence.

As a Service Lead in the Maximising Independence Service, your proven experience and knowledge of a therapy led domiciliary care provider are important, however, what will really differentiate you from others and ensure your success will be your natural ability to work in a collaborative environment, motivate and lead – inspiring staff and people to think differently about what care and support means. If this sounds like you, then why don't you come and be part of our passionate, highly motivated Maximising Independence Service?

In return you’ll be supported through supervision, both formally and informally, and have excellent support from colleagues across the service who are all striving towards developing an excellent department that builds on people’s strengths.
