The Catering & Facilities Management Service are looking to employ a Cleaner in Charge at Hawtonville Childrens Centre, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect. You will be required to work 2 hours per day between the hours of 8.00am & 10.30pm Monday to Friday during Term Time.  We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment and who is able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. Duties will include: opening of the site; locking & securing the site on occasions.  Vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture and window cleaning (plus occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-up). Rubbish removal from the site & sweeping of the entrance area will be required. 

You will play a vital role as the Cleaner within the site & will be expected to work alone at times. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative, and you will be expected to programme your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
