Home-Start Nottingham is a longstanding local charity which trains volunteers to mentor and support families with young children who are struggling to cope.
The Scheme Manager will have operational management responsibility for Home-Start Nottingham covering two main projects. The role for both projects includes managing the staff team, funding and budgets including negotiating contracts and making new funding applications, recording and reporting to key stakeholders, networking, representing the organisation at a local and national level and reporting to and working with the Trustees on all governance and quality assurance elements.
Home-Start terms and conditions are broadly similar to those operating in local Authorities. Given the nature of our work, this post will be subject to a criminal background check in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies.
