Caretaker/Cleaner in charge
We are looking for an experienced person to work alongside our Site Manager at Edgewood Primary School in September.
The successful candidate will be a highly competent cleaner with the ability to work well as part of a small team, be able to prioritise effectively and to juggle many different tasks under pressure. An awareness of the importance of confidentiality and of the safeguarding of children is essential.
The day-to-day role is largely cleaning within the school but includes Key Holder responsibilities and also deputising for the Site Manager when required. Further details are available from the school if required.
Other skills required are the ability to work as part of a team, competency in English and Maths, a good range of DIY skills, ability to manage own workload while taking direction from the Site Manager and school leadership, use own initiative where required, good communications skills and ability to oversee contractors on site.
