Relief Outdoor Education Instructor

You will be part of a small team offering curriculum linked outdoor activities to young people from schools/groups visiting our successful and well-regarded facility operated by NCC. The centre is located within Kings Mill Reservoir Country Park with easy access to the Peak District National Park for offsite activity sessions. You will be enthusiastic, flexible and outgoing, with a range of expertise/experience in outdoor education, holding national governing body qualifications in at least one land based (walking/climbing/biking/caving) or watersport (paddlesports/sailing). A full driving license which allows the driving of group vehicles and trailers (D1+E) is desirable, but not essential.
Safety is of the utmost importance and you must have a good understanding of risk management in an adventurous activity context, there will be a familiarisation and induction process to undertake before you start.
