The Director of Quality Assurance and School Improvement will support an allocated group of schools, enabling them to grow the capacity to improve themselves and secure the highest standards of learning and achievement for our children. The role will balance Quality Assurance, in some cases overseeing the deployment of a System Leader / Head teacher+, and school improvement where you will work side by with school leaders to bring about rapid improvement. The post holder will be accountable for the success of each school through developing a balance between standardisation and a celebration of each school’s uniqueness. 

You will form part of a team of three DQASIs, working alongside our Director of Education. Through this team you will drive and develop the strategy for education across our partnership, with the opportunity to lead on an area of education based on your expertise. You will also work with a wider team of exceptional System Leaders, Lead Practitioners, and our team of Head teachers. Our leaders are united in their relentless pursuit of excellence, so you will join a partnership with a collective appetite for change and improvement.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an inspirational school leader with a strong track record as a primary Head teacher.
  • Has evidence of a strong track record of school-to-school support, as an NLE or LLE, which has had a demonstrable positive impact on children’s attainment and progress.
  • Demonstrates a deep knowledge and understanding of the current educational climate.
  • Is a forward-thinking practitioner who can look outwards to ensure that we always remain at the cutting edge.
  • Is an individual that is able to get the best from others, expertly balancing support, and challenge.
  • Is a fantastic team player, able to be a positive addition to the Central Team.
  • Can demonstrate a commitment to self-reflection and professional learning.
  • Is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
  • Has a good sense of humour and a willingness to have fun.
