We are excited to be searching for an experienced, enthusiastic and outstanding Early Years Lead Teacher, to lead our Early Years team. We are seeking to find a superb, highly motivated classroom teacher and leader with a passion for providing children with high quality, interactive and memorable learning experiences. The successful candidate will have class responsibility and leadership time to further develop our EYFS Phase and lead in Early reading in EYFS and KS1. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, they will play an active role in school improvement and work with us in our continual drive to provide our children with the best education possible.

As Phase leader you will be integral to the leadership and management of the school. You will form a key part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision making and driving improvement across the school. The role is crucial in supporting the Head Teacher in delivering the vision for the school, ensuring consistency and be the custodian of the school’s ethos. Your role will involve oversight of a phase of the school, ensuring implementation, consistency and role modelling excellent practice.

We are looking for someone who is: 

•  A great sense of humour!
•  Be an excellent class teacher, with a proven track record of moving children on in their learning and achieving good outcomes for all across the whole curriculum
•  Has a passion for teaching in Early Years, a sound knowledge of the Early Years foundation Stage curriculum and embraces this exciting curriculum
•  A passion to develop early reading, in a school which has already achieved recognition for being in the top 4% of the country for our phonics screening check results.
