Finance Assistant Scale 4:

Initially for 12 months but likely to be extended for the right candidate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Adult Care Financial Services within The Community Assessment Team, who are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated new team member. This busy team is responsible for charging service users who receive care and support funded by Nottinghamshire County Council whilst living in the community. You need to be, highly organised, a good team player but also able to work on your own initiative. You must be able to work under pressure, to set procedures and deadlines and able to prioritise your own work. The post also involves plenty of contact with social workers staff, senior managers, service users and team members so excellent customer service skills are paramount, as is the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers. You will be competent in using Excel and Word, and be confident in using a number of different IT systems. Training will be given on all aspects of the role.
