Start Date: 1 September 2020

You will be required to work 29 hours per week/39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset/additional days). Flexibility towards hours is key to the success of the school however, it is expected that the you will work during the following:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.45am - 3.30pm
  • Friday: 8.45am - 3.45pm

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to provide supervision of our pupils and their work during periods of short-term teacher absence. As the successful candidate, you will take sole charge of groups of children to deliver lessons as set by the teacher, ensure that pupils are on task and complete the work set. An ability to manage the behaviour in the classroom to ensure a constructive learning environment is a must and training in this area will be provided. The post-holder will also be required to assist the SEN department in working with individual children, as directed by the SENCO. We are looking for applications from adaptable, organised individuals with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
