NJC Grade 3, Spinal Column Point 14 - 18, £16,231 - £17,714 pro rata per annum (£13,671.49 – £14,920.62)

Our academy is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with a range of students to help them to reach their full potential. This role will be varied and the post holder will support students with punctuality, absence, specific learning needs, challenging behaviour and low esteem. The successful applicant will hold high expectations of all students and will be committed to providing support to assist pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and encourage raised educational achievement.

The successful applicant will have as a minimum:

  • GCSE’s (Grade C or above in English and Maths)
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills for general administration and support student learning
  • Experience of working with members of the public including young people in the 11 – 19 age range
