Night Care Assistant
Caudwell House in Southwell provides residential and short breaks to children with physical disabilities and health needs and has been awarded outstanding since 2011. We are committed to ensuring the children reach their full potential and achieve the best possible outcomes. An opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent night care worker to join our team.
You will be required to provide the highest possible care throughout the night and interact positively with the children, supporting them to reach their full potential. You will be expected to carry out personal and intimate care, peg feeding and perform health procedures for which you will be given training by health care professionals. The ability to work as a team as well as under your own initiative is imperative. You will be on duty with 1 or 2 other night care workers in addition to sleeping staff.
You will be required to work some weekends, for which you will receive enhanced pay. You will also receive an enhancement on top of your salary for working after 8pm.
