Be at the forefront of change and transform the way health and social care is delivered to people in Nottinghamshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to drive forward the implementation of Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire County Council and the five Nottinghamshire County Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are early adopters of IPC and will be working in partnership to implement it. IPC aims to redesign the way the system will work for people with complex needs; empowering people and communities to take an active role in their health and wellbeing with greater choice and control over the care they need. This includes an integrated approach to personal budgets for people with health and social care needs.

We are looking for a Project Officer to support the delivery of IPC. The post holder will have a sound understanding of the IPC agenda and a firm commitment to its values and principles. You will undertake a key role by driving forward the changes required to embed IPC and ensure the programme meets the national and local targets set by NHS England.

The successful applicant will have experience of working on change projects and will have strong planning, interpersonal, communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisations. This will be coupled with the ability to analyse, understand and interpret complex issues and encourage innovation, creativity and new ways of working. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and tenacious individual with the ability and commitment to focus on the achievement of outcomes.

You will be employed by Nottinghamshire County Council, as part of the Strategic Commissioning Unit (SCU) and as this is a partnership programme between social care and health, you will be managed by the IPC Project Manager.

Please note that any secondment will need to be agreed with your line manager before applying for this post.

For more information please contact: Debbie Draper, IPC Project Manager Tel: 0115 8837889 or M: 07968 398142

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
