Ordsall Primary School Tree House Club offers breakfast, after school and holiday care for children aged between 3 and 11yrs.

We are looking to recruit qualified, organised and enthusiastic people to join our established Breakfast Club, from September 2016. The possibility of additional hours in after school and holiday care may also be available for the right candidates. Successful applicants are subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and references.

We are looking for people who:

• have an enthusiastic outlook and enjoy working with primary aged children;

• hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (for the Leader post) and a Level 1 or 2 (for the Assistant post);

• can demonstrate effective leadership and management skills (for the Leader post) and enjoy working as part of a wider team;

• have excellent communication and organisational skills which are essential to liaise with parents, carers and other professionals;

• Ideally have Safeguarding, First Aid & Food Hygiene qualifications – if necessary training can be provided;

• are able to plan, prepare and deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities; and

• be an accurate record keeper (for the Leader post).

Hours: Breakfast Club - 7.30am - 9.00am days: Monday to Friday term time only.

Additional hours for after school and holiday care, may also be available for the right candidate.
