School Food Champion – Support Assistant (2 Posts)

5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

The Community Academy opened in January 2013 for students aged 11-18 years and up to 3000 adult learners. This will be an exciting time to join us as we progress to become an outstanding provider of education.

For September 2016, we are looking to appoint 2 School Food Champions – Support Assistants.

Duties will include supervision in the canteen, encouraging students to clear up after themselves whilst ensuring their welfare and safety. Previous experience of working with children is desirable and knowledge of basic first aid is expected.

The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share the commitment. The post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and all qualifications will be verified.
