An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Ageing Well Broxtowe team for a motivated individual who wants to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults. You will be joining our dynamic, hardworking and friendly team of social work staff and occupational therapists based in Beeston (covering the district of Broxtowe).

You will need to be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England. As part of the role you will undertake care and support assessments and reviews for people and their families. NCC is committed to a strength-based approach which aims to maximise independence and develop support networks. We keep people at the centre of our agenda and are committed to promoting independence

You will also undertake safeguarding assessments under the Care Act 2014 (S42) .You will be expected to undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments and complex case work. Broxtowe Ageing Well team have developed excellent working relationships with health colleagues. You will be working closely with health and other keys partners in Broxtowe.
