Chief Executive's
£19,312 - £20,092 per annum (pro rata)

Ollerton Day Service is a busy day centre, providing support to Service Users across Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health and Older Persons services.

As this is a job share with someone who works Monday to Wednesday, you will be required to work Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm (30 minutes lunch break each day). You will be the first point of contact for anyone telephoning or visiting the centre, so you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care skills, communicate effectively at all times and maintain confidentiality.

Your day to day duties will include financial tasks, involving banking, budget monitoring and making and recording payments from petty cash. You must be competent in the use of spreadsheets, have excellent word processing skills and be able to compile statistics and provide management information. Other duties include using electronic systems to ensure that attendance and activities of day centre users are recorded accurately and processing payments, travel claims and absences for staff, through to payroll.

You must be able to work on your own initiative but also work in conjunction with your job share partner working at the beginning of the week. You will also work in conjunction with the Business Support Administrator at the Newark site in Balderton and provide cross cover on occasions.

Please note that Ollerton Day Services closes for two weeks, late July/early August each year, for which two weeks (pro rata) of your annual leave will have to be used.

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
