Commercial Supervisor
Transport and Travel Services are looking for an enthusiastic person to be part of our busy team, to supervise the day to day delivery and development of a number of transport services.
The main focus of the post will be on the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) home to school transport applications, eligibility and appeals along with the daily work supervision across the team. Support will also be required in the following areas subject to service priorities:
- Concessionary Travel: Elderly and disabled bus pass applications and eligibility
- Business travel for Council employees
- Processing and checking Invoice payments to transport providers
- Ticketing and Young person ticketing
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following skills and knowledge: -
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Experience of supervising staff and developing performance
- Demonstrate good data analysis and ICT skills
- Understanding of SEND and mainstream school transport
- Understanding of Concessionary Travel
