The Governing Body are looking to appoint with immediate effect a Handyperson at Priestsic Primary and Nursery School.

We are looking to appoint a reliable, friendly and flexible Handyperson with good communication skills to support the work of the school. This role would suit anyone who is prepared to work hard alongside our dedicated and friendly school team.

The successful candidate will ensure that the school site is clean, safe and maintained to a very high standard and will have an excellent attention to detail with the ability to carry out a variety of Handyperson duties.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good and practical working knowledge of D.I.Y. skills and be able to undertake a range of general maintenance tasks including routine and emergency repairs, basic joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating, some heavy-duty cleaning tasks may also be required and the successful candidate will be a responsible key holder.

Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but ideally we are looking for someone with enthusiasm and commitment to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to the school.
