Grade 2, SCP 9-13 A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.45 per hour

Part-time - Monday – Friday (11.45am – 1.15pm – 1 hour 30 mins per day), term time only.

The Governors of Thrumpton Primary School are looking to appoint a caring, friendly, enthusiastic person to lead our friendly team of Midday Supervisors. The role involves leading the team of Midday supervisors throughout the mid-day break, organising rotas and cover where appropriate.  Ensuring positive behaviour and the safety and wellbeing of the children including following first aid procedures.  Working as a member of a team indoors to ensure that the children eat well and that the dining hall is kept clean and tidy as well as supervising and supporting the children. Outdoors, the role involves supervising the children within the playgrounds and encouraging them to play appropriate games, as well as other related duties.

The ideal candidate will start Monday 30th January and enjoy working with children. They will be able to work confidentially, will be motivated, well-organised, hard-working, have good behaviour management skills and be willing to undergo any training that is required.
