Required for September 2017, a dynamic classroom practitioner with the ability to lead a highly successful department and to play a key leadership role in the school.  The Becket School is a heavily over-subscribed and highly successful Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of South Nottingham Catholic Academy Trust with a 6th Form of over 270 students.  The school offers Business Studies and Economics at post 16 level only and in 2016 the A level pass rate in both subjects was 100% with an average grade of B+.  

Applicants should:

  • possess either QTS or QTLS with membership of the Society for Education and Training
  • be a committed and motivated classroom teacher with a proven track record of achieving excellent results
  • possess the ability to inspire and lead others
  • be able to teach Business Studies and Economics to A level.
