Self Help UK is the leading support organisation for self-help groups in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Self-help groups provide members living with long term health conditions or life affecting situations the opportunity to meet other people who share their experience. They are ideally suited to encourage and support people to manage their health and wellbeing and too actively self-care.

We are looking to employ someone who is experienced in managing a team to deliver multiple contracts and is passionate about the power of mutual aid and shared experience as a force to deliver change.

The post holder will work in partnership with a range of organisations in health and the third sector to facilitate better access and knowledge of self-management , self-help and self-care through training , support and  information to  groups and professionals,  and to develop new and innovative ways to improve local participation in health and wellbeing activity.
