Cover Supervisor
You will work as part of a team and be responsible to the Senior Cover Supervisor who will support you in delivering the schools policy on cover.
Cover Supervisors provide continuity for student learning enabling them to carry out pre-planned tasks under your supervision while a regular member of staff is absent. You will demonstrate flexibility and the ability to establish effective relationships with young people aged 11-16.
Training and support will be provided. It is also the intention that suitable candidates will provide assistance with the pastoral support programme.
This post would be suited to someone considering a career in teaching and for those needing experience to acquire a place on a PGCE or GTP course.
Successful candidates will need to have an enhanced DBS check.
