The Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham Multi Academy Trust (SNMAT) is seeking to appoint an Academy Improvement Director to work as a critical partner to support our academy leaders to evaluate performance and plan effective strategies for continuing improvement.

We are looking for someone who can work with multiple partners and is able to develop a culture of high expectations. You will:

  • Have extensive experience of primary headship and will have a proven track record of impact and success in education.
  • Be able to operate with confidence across all phases of education.
  • You will be a serving Ofsted Inspector and will be able to offer expertise to all stakeholders within SNMAT.
  • Report directly to the CEO, ensuring support is deployed effectively.
  • Be part of a highly experienced team and engage in high level professional discussion that can influence outcomes within partner academies.

This is an exciting time to join this growing MAT; We are offering the opportunity for the right candidate to make a real difference to the outcomes of the young people in our partner academies. As a leader you will receive very high-quality support from the MAT. In addition, you will become a member of the SNMAT’s Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the evolution of a successful and growing MAT.
