Due to company growth, we now have an exciting vacancy for a Adventure Provision Manager to join our Adventure Provision in Mansfield. 

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic qualified multi skilled Adventure Provision Manager to work within the Adventure provision, based in Mansfield. The successful applicant will deliver vocational based lessons, alongside the adventure team to groups of up to 12 learners split into 2 groups of 6.  You will be responsible for delivering adventure activities under the guidance of AALA.  Therefore an awareness and understanding of AALA is an essential requirement.

As Adventure Provision Manager you will act as the line manager for alternative provision team staff and be accountable for the day to day operations of the site including delivery of curriculum, health and safety and the safeguarding of young people. You will also be responsible for all assessments, pupil tracking documents, progress reports and feedback reports to commissioning bodies for young people in alternative provision e.g. Education, Health and Care plans, KS3 & KS4 transition planning, and post 16 opportunities. 

It is essential that you have four years experience of working with children and young people and experience of a supervisory role in an education setting. You must hold a minimum Level 4 or 5 professional qualification in education.  In addition to this it is essential that candidates hold a minimum of 3 National Governing Body awards to include but not limited to any of the following: Climbing (RCI or SPA), Caving (level 1 or above), Kayaking, Canoeing, Mountain Bike Trail Leader or a MIAS level 1, Paddle Sports (minimum of paddle sports leader/ level 1 coach), Mountain leaders / Hill and Moorland leader and Outdoor First Aid.  This is an essential qualification.

It is also an essential requirement that you hold a full UK driving licence, and can drive a minibus.
