This is an extremely interesting position providing support to a blind Commissioning Officer in all aspects of administrative work and practical support. This will include various tasks such as note taking, reading aloud relevant correspondence, form completion, data inputting, collation of records and diary management. Excellent communication skills are required along with a genuine commitment to deliver a high standard of business and administrative support.

You will be an experienced administrator with proven word-processing skills and be competent in the use of spreadsheets. Accuracy and numeracy skills are essential to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard on behalf of the Commissioning Officer; whilst maintaining confidentiality and acting within the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) at all times. You will have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.

A full driving licence and access to a car is required to enable you to drive the Commissioning Officer to meetings, visits, training events etc. throughout Nottinghamshire. You will be required to assist the Commissioning Officer at meetings, seminars and conferences by acting as a guide, reading course materials and supporting the Commissioning Officer as appropriate. You will have awareness of and full commitment to Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety.
