You will have an opportunity to work at the Mansfield Bus Station as a Customer Service Officer. You will be working as part of a Facilities Team who will be looking after the Bus Station Site and supporting members of the public (bus station users) and bus operators on a daily basis.

Duties will include the security of the building (dealing with onsite issues, alarms and key holding), cleaning, managing contractors on site and general management of the site on a day to day basis. The role will also involve working closely with our business partners on site (Transport employees and bus operators). You should be able to demonstrate high levels of customer care as daily communication with members of the public providing travel information to assist in their travel requirements.

The hours of duty are between 05.10 to 00.10 on a two-shift system working 4 days on shift and 4 days off shift rota both morning and evening shift times. The bus station is open 7 days a week so the shift working pattern does involve working weekends and Bank holidays for which enhancements to pay are made.  These shifts will be based upon a 32.29 hour average working week.

You will have demonstrated high levels of customer care as daily communication with members of the public and bus operators is a vital part of this post. In addition, experience of working within the area of Site Management and public transport environments is also desirable but not essential.
