We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science.  As a member of the maths and computing department you will be teaching computer science to all key stages including GCSE and BTEC Level 3 Computing.  Pupils study computer science from year 7, starting with Scratch, then moving on to learn Python, HTML and java-script programming languages alongside hardware, software and network topics. The subject is very popular and well-resourced with seven computer rooms including two MAC suites. Pupils also have access to Codecademy, Codio, Scratch and App Inventor.

In 2020, 61% of pupils achieved 9 - 4 grades in GCSE Computer Science and 42% achieved 9 – 5 grades in GCSE Computer Science.
