Teaching Assistant
The Head Teacher and Governors are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the happy team at Nettleworth Infant and Nursery School to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold suitable qualifications for a Grade 4 Teaching Assistant post - depending on experience
- Have good basic skills in English and Maths
- Have recent experience of working within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- Be enthusiastic, well-motivated and supportive of the class teacher
- Have an ability to inspire children
- Have a friendly, caring nature
- Be keen to learn and develop professionally
- Be able to create an environment that nurtures and stimulates positive attitudes, independence and an innovative approach to facilitating learning and teaching
- Show a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our pupils
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Have children at the heart of everything they do
