An opportunity has arisen in the Living Well Rushcliffe Community Team for a qualified, experienced, Social Worker who is looking for a chance to develop their career in an established leadership role and wants to make a difference for our customers.  You will have at least two year experience at a Band B level, with knowledge of safeguarding practice, Mental Capacity, and complex case work, to undertake this important leadership position.

In this role you will supervise a small number of staff and take the lead on practice issues relating to the team's Physical Disability specialism and oversee the day to day operation of the team with other senior colleagues. Supervisory or mentoring experience would be an advantage as you will work with the managers and other senior staff to support the team through periods of change. Your ability to communicate with colleagues and other stakeholders to support development and maintain good practice will also be essential. As a senior worker in the team you will hold a small case load of complex cases and your ability to be creative and forward thinking will provide a positive example to colleagues.

You will receive regular supervision, both formally and informally and be able to attend training to increase your knowledge and skills. You will need to hold a driving licence and have the regular use of a vehicle for this post.
