Self Help UK is beacon of best practice in self help and mutual support. With over 40 years’ experience in supporting and encouraging self help groups at every stage. Self Help UK has the key tools and resources to empower self help groups to thrive.

After a successful application to the Lottery Fund, Self Help UK is expanding their support across the UK with the creation of a National Resource Centre. 

This is a new and exciting opportunity to make a real difference. The National Resource centre will be a centre of excellence for self help group development and sustainability. A key hub for groups, organisations and individuals to access key information, resources and training at each stage of a self help group journey.

This role requires a strong leader who has a demonstrable and proven track record of implementing a significant programme, whilst managing multiple relationships effectively.
We are looking for an experienced individual to be responsible for the setting up of a National Resource Centre. This includes the development, implementation and delivery of a national programme

You will have experience of delivering support services within the third or public sector or equivalent. You will need to successfully lead a significant change management programme. This will include the adoption of new ways of working, attitudes, skills and behaviours. During this programme you will need to ensure the highest quality of service delivery is maintained to self help groups and other organisations
