We are looking for a number of Specialist Teaching Assistants to join us in the Leicester area. Details of the role are below:

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant you will be required to support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through collaborative preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum. You should use a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision which includes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people. The role will involve working with learners in 1:1 and small groups. 

The successful candidate will need to hold a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in education in addition to having at least three years experience of working with 
SEND and autism. 

You should be able to demonstrate knowledge regarding the teaching practice for young children with additional needs and be able to plan sessions and amend if necessary to cater for the learner’s needs.
