We are looking for a Programme Officer to support the Council’s response to the Independent Investigation into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).

The Council is fully committed to the Independent Inquiry and this is an opportunity to work on a high profile project, of national significance.

The Nottinghamshire investigation will examine the scale and nature of child sexual abuse that may have taken place under the care of the Council and will critically consider how the Council responded to allegations that children in its care were being sexually abused.

You will be helping research and collate information for Council submissions to the Inquiry team; and will be involved in supporting the Public Hearing, which is listed to start on 1 October 2018 for three weeks.

You will be well organised and have strong planning, interpersonal and communication skills.

Please be aware that you will be working with highly confidential, sensitive information of a potentially upsetting nature.

This post is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2018 and can be applied for a on a full or part time basis.
