A Senior Business Analyst position is being recruited to support a strategically important area of work. Detail on the project can be found below. When applying you will need to provide extensive and demonstrable business and information analysis experience, as set out in the attached job description and person specification.

Required to support the preparation, analysis, insight, and report on an East Midlands regional approach to capacity building and challenges facing our local authorities and other cross-organisational departments when supporting unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC), and former UASC care leavers.

This role is being led and overseen by Nottinghamshire County Council, but will involve close working with East Midlands Councils and the other 9 East Midlands regional local authorities. Within this remit, you will be exploring accommodation provision, capacity building, services for UASC and former UASC care leavers, co-production opportunities and identifying what actions and resources are needed to identify practical solutions to help the East Midlands response to the National Transfer Scheme.

 As the Senior Business Analyst to this project you will:

  • Explore, identify and analyse the current service provision across the East Midlands in relation to UASC, including challenges and capacity building / improvement opportunities.
  • Use strategic business analysis tools and techniques to explore and drive transformation and change decisions around regional opportunities.
  • Collaborate with services and other stakeholders to gain insight and understanding of the challenges facing local authorities when supporting UASC and former UASC care leavers
