Are you interested in exploring digital ways of working to see how we can make things better?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Social Care and Public Health Department’s Service Improvement, Quality and Practice Team as a Digital Development Manager.

The digital transformation of both health and social care is a top priority for the Department of Health and Social Care. We are looking for someone to join our team and help us build on our good local track record of digital development to date.

Digital services can give people more control over their lives by allowing them to decide when and where they connect with their social care providers. They can give people access to resources for managing more of their own health and care when and where they choose. Digital technologies can also help us to improve the quality of our care and prevention services, whether they are online or not, and help to free up staff to spend more time with the people they are supporting.

Do you have a flair for seeing how we can use digital ways of working to support people to achieve their goals, to work more collaboratively with our partners, and to simplify our processes? Are you committed to supporting people to be confident in the use of new ways of working? If this sounds like you - we'd love to hear from you.

If you would like to discuss the role, please contact Jennifer Allen, Service Improvement Development Manager, on 0115 977 2052

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
