Due to increasing student numbers The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form in Keyworth is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper.

The hours of work will be 2pm to 6pm, although there may be some flexibility in the start and finish times. This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week all year round. During school holiday periods hours can be worked on a flexible basis with the agreement of the Site Manager.

Previous experience in a school environment is not essential but a commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are. Previous experience in either housekeeping or general cleaning would be an advantage but are not necessary.

We will train you in the specific aspects of the job you just need to bring a willingness to learn, a good sense of humour and a friendly and approachable manner. Finally, you must be a good communicator, like working around young people and always willing to help your team when the unexpected happens.
