Due to continued growth, REAL Independent School are recruiting a KS2/3 Learning and Achievement Lead to work as part of our Independent School based in Blidworth, Nottinghamshire required for April 2017.

Hours: 37.5 hours per. Location: Blidworth, Nottinghamshire however travel will be required across Nottinghamshire

We seek to appoint a KS2/3 Learning & Achievement Lead with a clear vision to continue the drive for high standards and a creative and innovative approach to reengaging children and young people within key stages 2 and 3 in learning.

We are seeking:

• A teaching professional who is “risk aware” but not “risk averse” in creating bespoke opportunities for children and young people with a range of complex additional needs.

• A teaching professional who will work as part of the school leadership team to inspire and work in partnership with KS2/3 pupils, staff, parents, governors and the local community in establishing relationships outside the immediate community.

• An individual who is committed to supporting our KS4 Learning and Achievement Lead and subject leads to develop their curriculum areas in a creative and professional manner in order provide our learners with the highest standard of education possible.

• A highly motivated individual who will to take on the challenge to achieve real outcomes for children and young people previously hard to place or “lost to learning”

• Someone who will work alongside our Referral and Assessment Team lead to further develop our KS2/3 progress tracking system.
