This is an excellent opportunity to join the Regional Adoption Agency, Adoption East Midlands, and make a positive contribution to helping children, young people and their families. We are looking for an enthusiastic team orientated person, who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can build effective working relationships with adoptive parents and colleagues alike.

This is an integral role within the adoption team offering valuable day to day support to a team of social workers as well as being the first point of contact for those seeking our service and support. We are looking for someone who can be flexible, able to multi-task, work to deadlines, are able, on occasions to work outside office hours and undertake work in the community when needed. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The post holder will be educated to GSCE Grade C or above in English and Maths or demonstrate evidence of competency at this standard. You will be also expected to contribute to improving outcomes for children and families and understand the concept of safeguarding children and young people.

This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
