County Highways Manager
Following on from the major review of the County Council’s Highways service, a new Network Management team is to be established within the County Council working alongside the current Via East Midlands team to improve and enhance our service delivery of district and asset management functions.
As the County Highways Manager, you will be accountable for the cost-effective delivery of these strategies in partnership with Via East Midlands and will be able to provide comprehensive, timely professional advice, guidance, and information in relation to the management of the highway network to stakeholders and ensure an excellent customer service.
Candidates who are shortlisted will be interviewed for this role and the Highways Asset Manager role, due to the overlap of their responsibilities within the Network Management team.
Although Highways experience is preferred, applicants with appropriate transferable skills will also be considered. A hybrid working arrangement is available with this role.
