Full time KS1 Teacher

The Children, Staff and Governors of our warm and welcoming village school wish to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and positive thinking Year 1 Teacher from September 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Key Stage 1 team in developing a new stand-alone year 1 class, with a PAN of 20 amazing pupils.

We are looking for someone who…

•    Has good knowledge of early childhood development and is dedicated to ensuring that every child makes excellent progress through well planned learning journeys that inspires pupils to ‘be the very best that they can be’.
•    Has a passion for creating meaningful learning environments that spark children’s curiosity and put the child at the centre.  
•    Understands the importance of continuous provision and quality interactions in KS1 and can challenge children’s thinking to develop the ‘thinkers and doers’ of the future.  
•    Considers the needs of all children and has high aspirations for their achievement in both academic and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. 
•    Would be interested in developing their middle leader skills as a foundation subject leader. 
•    Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive and driven team.  
•    Is Calm, Considerate and Compassionate.
