Meals Service Operative
Multiple posts are available
County Enterprise Foods Meals At Home Service provides a delivered meals service to residents throughout Nottinghamshire County Council. The service operates over seven days from two sites Rainworth (near Mansfield) and Worksop requiring weekend working on a rota basis.
Vacancies have arisen for the posts of Relief Meals Service Operative. These posts will be based at Rainworth and Worksop, and will be required to work as part of a team responsible for the County wide delivery service. The successful candidates will be part of a team of over 20 staff who each undertake a delivery round as and when required to cover staff annual leave and absences. The Meals Service Operatives collect meals from base and deliver the service within the community as requested by the residents of the County. An important part of this work is a “Safe and Well” check.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
