£10.50 - £10.60 per hour (A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £10.90 per hour)

The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ additional Mobile cleaners, to further enhance the cleaning standards of schools and local authority buildings within the Newark, Southwell & Ollerton areas with immediate effect.

You will be required to work between the hours of 6am-8.30am and 3:30pm-6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team of staff and who are able to communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.

You must have use of a vehicle as you will be paid a casual car users allowance for travelling to and from your approved base and sites. (A taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this.) 

You will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the sites you cover. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
