The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper. This is a full time role based on 37 hours per week however we would consider applications for 30 hours.

The full time hours will be 10.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 10.30 am – 6.00 pm, Friday

Previous experience in a school environment is not essential but a commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are. Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning would be an advantage but is not necessary.

You will need to demonstrate a commitment to working in a safe manner and be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check. This role involves a lot of walking around and the laying out and putting away of furniture so you need to be physically able to meet those requirements.

Finally, you must be a good communicator, like working around young people and always willing to help your team when the unexpected happens.

We will train you in the specific aspects of the job you just need to bring a willingness to learn and have a friendly and approachable manner.
